DR GOH’S SPECIALISATION

Dr Goh is a Melbourne based comprehensive specialist ophthalmologist (FRANZCO) with subspecialty training in medical retina diseases.

He performs a wide range of treatments including cataract and pterygium surgery, eye injections, and laser treatments (retinal, capsulotomies, trabeculoplasty).

Dr Goh conducts surgeries at various hospitals, including The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Austin Hospital, North Park Hospital, Sunshine Private Hospital, and Footscray Day Surgery.

MENTORING

Dr Goh has a passion for teaching and is actively involved in teaching junior medical staff (medical students, hospital medical officers, and ophthalmology trainees). He is currently the Medical Retina term supervisor for trainee registrars at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and is an Honorary Clinical Tutor (Ophthalmology) at the University of Melbourne.

He has previously held the Registrar of the Court (2020) position for organising the final ophthalmology examinations that trainees undertake before they are granted their ophthalmology fellowship and recognised as medical specialists.
